The experience
behind Blackwater.
After serving in the Marine Corps, Shane built custom homes in Ohio, then started and sold a development company before moving into industrial demolition. He brings more than 22 years of Ohio building and demolition experience, including extensive custom-home knowledge, to his work in Florida. Ryan brings construction experience since 2019, a strong understanding of the property-insurance process and business management, and proficiency in estimating software and platforms.
Together, they help owners understand what needs to be built or repaired, what the work involves and how it is estimated—including projects where insurance is part of the process.

Blackwater brings 30+ years of building experience and 10+ years of property insurance experience to the conversation.
Property-insurance knowledge helps us understand repair scope, estimating and documentation when unexpected damage occurs. It also informs conversations about maintenance, existing conditions and applicable building-code requirements before problems arise.
We build commercial buildings and custom homes, renovate and remodel existing spaces, prepare sites and maintain commercial properties. Each service starts with understanding what the owner needs and defining the work clearly.
